Today you'll enjoy a fresh , colorful smoothie bowl that will give you an energy boost ! You might be thinking, " Frozen spinach? Usually you use fresh spinach, right?" Don't worry, it's exactly the same, only frozen spinach is cheaper and easier to store (in your freezer).

We've also made sure that this recipe isn't too complicated and can be prepared quickly !

Energie blend - Natural Blend

What do you need?

  • 100 grams (frozen) spinach
  • 1/2 banana
  • 100 grams (frozen) pineapple
  • 200 ml unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
  • 7 grams (1 tablespoon) Energy blend

Toppings:

  • 20 grams of whole grain muesli
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • Coconut flakes

Preparation method

Step 1

Add the spinach, half a banana, and pineapple to the blender. (Add the spinach and pineapple while they are still frozen; if your blender doesn't have enough power, we recommend thawing the spinach slightly beforehand or briefly microwaving it.)

Step 2

Add 1 tablespoon (7 grams) of the Energy blend to this.

Step 3

Add the milk. We think almond milk is very suitable for this. If you don't like milk, you can also choose water.

Step 4

Blend this until you have a smooth mixture.

Step 5

Pour this into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings. We love adding some whole-grain muesli. Other suggestions include: granola, coconut flakes, raisins, chia seeds, and goji berries. Just be careful not to use too many toppings, as they can quickly add a lot of calories and sugar.

Enjoy!
